I purchased my C185 in April of 2003 in Kamloops BC.  It had been purchased new by an air taxi in Fort Nelson and stayed in that area until I bought it.  It has not been modified other than motor mount, propeller, and air cleaner.  I had to register it, for the first time, as a US aircraft.   I have enjoyed flying it on floats, wheels, and skis, since then.
