" My Cessna 180 is a 1959 model which I have owned for the last ten years.

I run Federal 3200 hydraulic wheel skis and a tail ski. The motor is the

original Continental 0-470k with an 88inch seaplane propeller. Over the

years I've done quite a few mods including extended baggage area, battery on

the Firewall, new instrument panel and a new interior. Its an absolute joy

to fly. My plane still has the stock Cessna wing which I hope to modify this

winter with a Sportsman cuff. I first volunteered for Iditarod back in

2001 and have been hooked ever since. Working with all the Iditarod folks

really makes March one of my favorite months here in Alaska. Really looking

forward to flying Iditarod 2007!!!! "
